Our First Creation Destination Event

We've uploaded the brochure for the Winter Wonderland Scrapbooking and Cardmaking Weekend. You can find it on the right under Upcoming Events.

We will also be adding a page where you will be able to pay online just like you can do for our classes.

Christmas Card Swap 2009

This year's swap will run a bit different from those we've had in the past. Here's how it will work:

• The cost of the swap is $10.00 which includes your swap fee, an adorable card holder for your cards, beverages and snacks during the swap.
• The swap is limited to 20 people
• Create your cards with the product of your choice. Envelopes should be included with the cards.
• All participants will receive 10% off of all swap materials purchased at The Crop Shop

It's Been Really Quiet Here...

but only on the blog!

 The store has been hopping with activity! We have all kinds of new classes being designed and scheduled. Be sure to check the Upcoming Classes link for the latest updates. Our design team is currently working on this year's cookie swap, space is limited so be sure to sign up for that one quickly. We already have spots booked and it hasn't even made it on the official calendar yet!

We also have the launch of our Creation Destination events coming up in February. We have lined up some great sponsors for our goodie bags and classes. We are currently designing a multitude of classes, make and takes and product demos. Registration information will be posted here by the end of the week.

Last Night's Appetizer Crop

Last nights crop was not only lots of fun but the food was so unbelieveably good. We had stuffed mushrooms, homemade pizza, a variety of salsa dishes and other dips, plus some tasty desserts.

Dee was away visiting her mother for a celebration of her 75th birthday (her mother's not hers :P) but called in a few times to see that "her girls" were being well taken care of. It took the combined efforts of Kathy, Jacki, Jean, Robyn and Nancy to fill Dee's shoes for the night.

The crops for the next month have been posted and by the end of the week we are planning on posting some of the wonderful classes that we have planned for the coming holiday season. You are sure to find a class (or two) that you will love.

I love Mary Sara's idea of a day of Holiday crafting. We'll have to get the design team working on projects to get this going.

Fall Field Trip **Updated**

Bright and early this morning the Crop Shop ladies arrived to begin their adventure and after some coffee and sustenance they were off to visit Ink about it in Westford and then to Right at Home Scrapbooking in Attleboro.

Meanwhile here at the Crop Shop our first bus arrived from RAH and the ladies jumped right in to take Jacki's Ranger class.

 Notice the design team wall in the background. The team (at least most of them) have created an All About Me layout to introduce themselves to our customers. Their layouts are reflective of their individual style (I think so anyway! :) 

Hope the ladies from RAH enjoyed their time here at TCS as much as we enjoyed having them here. 

We will be posting pictures throughout the day so make sure you stop back in later. We didn't think that you should miss out on the giveaways and door prizes so be sure to leave a comment on this post to qualify for the drawing. There will be more details later in the day.

Wow! The ladies from Ink About It just left and boy did we have lots of laughs. First they sat down for a tasty lunch featuring Kathy's special homemade potato salad. It's a good thing they got here when they did because we were getting ready for seconds and there would not have been any left for them!

I don't know if you've noticed the young lady in the background. She is the Crop Shop's littlest helper. She has spent the day assisting the women with their projects and showing off the class sample project.

I tried to get a better shot of her but this is the best she would let me do.

The Crop Shop ladies are on their way back home,our little helper has gone home (didn't want to violate any child labor laws), and the coffee and cookies are ready for the last class of the day.

Fall Field Trip is SOLD OUT

Even though you may not be able to attend the field trip you don't have to miss out on all the new product that that is coming in this week. We are expecting shipments of new products all week and at least three shipments on Friday just in time for all the fun so stop in see all the new lines and get some for yourself.
